Inspired by Sweet Dreams

Our founder, Kimberly Smith, had a dream of becoming a published author. After self-publishing her first book of poetry with Outskirts Press, she decided to take the same route with her children’s books. Together with her illustrator and editor, they formed Peppermint Publishing and began working on a series of children’s books. They are driven by a motivation to show other working mothers that it is never too late to accomplish your dreams, no matter what those dreams may be. Their goal is to one day offer a publishing package - including full-service production and distribution - to aspiring children’s book authors who would like the opportunity to be published.
