Amanda Harper

Amanda Harper has been an avid lover of books from a young age! Growing up as the child of two educators can have that effect on someone.  Writing and editing an actual children's book seemed like the next natural progression.

Amanda was born in Indianapolis, IN, and now raises her two children there with her husband.  She attended Ball State University for her BA in Elementary Education as well as her Master’s in Education with a focus in Reading and Technology. She is currently teaching sixth graders and has also taught elementary since 2000. She plans to release her first children's book in the near future. Mandy resides in Indianapolis with her husband, James, and their two children, Kaylyn and Jayden.

Brittney Basaran

Brittney Basaran began drawing when she was old enough to hold a pencil in her hand. Art has always been important in Brittney’s life, but this is her first opportunity to use her talent professionally. It wasn’t until teaching elementary school that Brittney realized she was interested in illustrating children’s books. She began working with Peppermint Publishing as an illustrator in February 2018.

Brittney was born in Columbus, Ohio, but has been an Indiana resident for most of her life. She attended Ball State University after high school, where she received her BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Kindergarten/Primary Education. She is currently teaching Preschool full time and teaching adult learners how to read in the evenings. She currently resides in Irvington with her boyfriend Chad, her cat named Cami, and her dog named Capone.

Jessica Youmans

Jessica Youmans, who has always had a passion for writing and editing, was always that friend you wanted to proofread your papers before you handed them in for grading. She earned a Bachelor's of Early Childhood Education from Indiana University. In addition, she holds two Master's degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University, in Education and Educational Administration.  Now an educator in an elementary setting, she leads professional development and guides teachers to bring their best literacy instruction each day, in order to help grow students. In her time outside of school, she is the Editor of Teachers Matter Magazine, in New Zealand, and edits novels, stand alone articles, and children's books as well. Jessica has lived in five different cities in three different states, including Indiana, Texas, and Kentucky.  She is happily married to her husband, Todd, and they have four children: Drew, Matt, Lillie, and Eliza.

Helping authors bring their dreams to fruition is such a privilege and she looks forward to serving you!
